Vera Bagley, author of “Bagley Tale: More Than a Fish Story,” will host a book signing July 19-21 at the National Fishing Lure Collector Club Show in Fort Wayne, Ind. The book is a celebration of Jim Bagley’s life, business, and lures. Bagley, the founder and original president of Bagley’s Better Baits, started the book shortly before his death in 2004.
The late Homer Circle, former angling editor of Sports Afield and past president of OWAA, provided a memoriam on Bagley, and other friends and employees provide perspectives on life at the business and the origin of the famous lures. The book is noted for its humor.
