Swanson Russell adds eight to Lincoln office

LINCOLN, NE- Swanson Russell announces the addition of eight employees to its Lincoln office: Jack Christie, Peter Morris, Cameron Nelson, Kayla Ott, Sarah Prettyman, Kelsey Richard, Jenni Schroeder and Kelly Tyrrell.
Christie works as a production artist. He is a Lincoln native and recent University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate with a Bachelor of Journalism degree in advertising and public relations. Prior to joining the agency full time, Christie interned for three semesters during which he worked on a variety of client rebranding and concepting projects.
Morris returns to Swanson Russell as an art director after freelancing with the agency some years ago. Most recently a partner at Local Hero Design in Lincoln, Morris also spent time at Bailey Lauerman and the Nebraska Department of Economic Development. The Eureka, Kan., native received a Bachelor of Science degree in commercial art from Union College in Lincoln.
Nelson is the agency’s newest designer. Previously a designer for Neebo’s in-house team in Lincoln, the Denver native graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, concentrating in graphic design and drawing.
Hailing from Henderson, Neb., Ott is an account coordinator. She previously worked as a copy editor, photographer and reporter for her university’s newspaper, The Reveille. A recent graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Ott holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with an emphasis in journalism.
Lincoln native Prettyman joins the agency as an account manager. She worked as an account supervisor for Eire Direct Marketing in Chicago for five years before returning to Nebraska. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Prettyman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus in marketing.
Richard serves as an associate writer/producer. The Lincoln native was a Swanson Russell intern during her time at UNL. She became a full-time member of the team after graduating with a Bachelor of Journalism degree in advertising and public relations.
A Laurel, Neb., native, Schroeder works as a media coordinator. She previously served as an advertising account representative at Sandhills Publishing in Lincoln. A UNL graduate, Schroeder holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising.
Tyrrell brings advertising sales and production experience to her account manager role. A native of Hays, Kan., she previously worked at Three Eagles Communications and the Lincoln Journal Star. A graduate of Fort Hays State University, Tyrrell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus in political science. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in political science from UNL.
