Hunter's Specialties celebrates 35 years

For 35 years, Hunter’s Specialties has lived by the motto, “For Sportsmen, By Sportsmen,” providing well thought out and designed products to help hunters be more successful in the field.
Starting in 1977 with a roll of No-Mar camo tape, co-founders Carman and David Forbes worked tirelessly to design new products that would be “must haves” for hunters, including the Camo-Compac, which Carman designed in 1984.
Hunter’s Specialties entered the turkey call market in 1985 with their line of HS strut calls. Their patented premium flex diaphragm calls were added in 1988.
In 1998 Hunter’s Specialties acquired Wayne Carlton Calls and then added Johnny Stewart Wildlife Calls in 1999, allowing them to become a major force in the elk and predator calling markets.
Hunter’s Specialties employs a full time pro staff that attend marketing events and shows, as well as film hunts for both video and the Hunter’s Specialties Outdoors television show on Outdoor Channel.
During the past 35 years Hunter’s Specialties has continued to bring innovative new products to consumers with an eye toward what they truly need. Products including Scent-A-Way, Vita-Rack, PrimeTime Scents and HS Camo have helped round out the offerings, featuring hundreds of products that have helped make them “The Stuff of Legends”
