World Fishing Network announced the appointment of Pam Stinson to the position of senior director of marketing. In her new role, the cable industry veteran will be responsible for leading all marketing initiatives for the WFN brand including on-air, online and mobile.
“Pam has a demonstrated track record of developing and executing world-class media marketing programs,” said Mark Rubinstein, president and CEO of WFN. “We are thrilled to have Pam as part of our senior executive team and leading WFN’s television, online and mobile marketing work.”
Stinson comes to WFN from The Mtn. – MountainWest Sports Network which she joined in 2007 and served as senior director of marketing. Under her watch the network won two PromaxBDA awards and two PromaxBDA Sports Marketing awards. She will work out of WFN’s offices in Centennial, Colo..
She joined The Mtn. – Mountain West Sports Network from the affiliate advertising sales team at Disney and ESPN Media Networks, where, as senior account executive, she managed eight different companies spread over a 14-state territory representing more than five million subscribers. In 2009-10 she was one of 23 exceptional women accepted into Class V of the Women in Cable Television (WICT) Rocky Mountain Leadership Institute. The University of Wyoming graduate lives in Littleton, Colo.
