Dear editor,
After working all year on the summer conference with a great committee and office staff, I still cannot believe I missed the conference at the last minute due to a medical emergency that put me in the Mayo Clinic. 
Nevertheless, some of the best medicine has hearing from friends within the OWAA family, it was a shot in the arm to get all the e-mails and then get well cards.
So thanks to all who took the time to wish me well. And thanks to all who attended the conference. Your conference committee and HQ staff worked exceptionally hard to give you a program worth worth your time and investment. Thanks, too, to the local committee led by Tim Lesmeister. They were just great and pitched right in.
