Ducks Unlimited will celebrate the conservation legacy of Montana conservationist Eric Pierce on July 28 at the Montana State University Sub Ballroom in Bozeman. The event will feature exclusive raffles and auctions aimed at funding a conservation project in Pierce’s memory.
Pierce, an avid waterfowl hunter, was an active DU member for more than 25 years. He and his family founded Big Sky Carvers, a Manhattan, Mont., decoy-carving factory. Pierce died in 2010.
