Wildlife art exhibition seeks museums

American Wildlife Art is a traveling exhibition scheduled to premiere at the Allentown Art Museum in the fall of 2013. Those who attended the 2011 OWAA Conference in Snowbird, Utah, received the book of the same title by David J. Wagner. Wagner is looking for other museums around the country to host the exhibition, which consists of 75 artworks reflecting the breadth and depth of American wildlife art history. The exhibition is based on the book and explains how American wildlife art has evolved, how its ecological ideologies have changed and how artists and entrepreneurs developed and influenced the market for wildlife art.
