Visit Lorain County to exhibit at regional travel shows

Amherst, OH  – Visit Lorain County (VLC) announced their participation in The Great Lakes Outdoor Show on Jan 16-19, 2014 at the IX Center in Cleveland and The Great Vacations Travel EXPO, presented by AAA, taking place January 24‐26, 2014 at Veterans Memorial in downtown Columbus.
The Cleveland Outdoor Adventure Show showcases fishing and the outdoors and is targeted to the outdoor enthusiast. Lorain County is a premier recreational destination and VLC will have representatives on hand in booth #422 from the Lorain County Metro Parks, Lorain Port Authority, Visit Lorain County and local fishing Charter Captains to highlight the area’s outdoor adventure.
The Cleveland Outdoor Adventure Show will be held at the I-X Center in Cleveland. Show hours are Thursday 2p.m – 8p.m., Friday 2p.m.- 8p.m., Saturday 10a.m. – 8p.m. Sunday 11a.m. – 5p.m. General Admission is $10.00, Children 10 & under are free, Scouts in uniform are also free. The Great Vacations Travel EXPO is billed as a one‐stop shop for everything related to travel. The event offers Central Ohio consumers information and EXPO‐only deals. With more than 250 exhibits, attractions and events ‐ including Visit Lorain County (booth #710) ‐ the EXPO is a destination in itself. Favorite travel spots come alive with interactive events and experiences that are as entertaining as they are helpful and educational.
The Great Vacations Travel EXPO will be held at Franklin County Veterans Memorial in Downtown Columbus. EXPO hours are Friday 12 p.m. ‐ 7p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. ‐ 7 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. ‐ 5 p.m. Tickets are $8 at the door (AAA members receive 50%‐off admission). Children 16 and under are admitted free.
