Smith and Wesson sponsors Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt

Laramie, Wyo. – Smith & Wesson, a U.S.-based leader in firearm design and manufacturing, has signed on as a bronze sponsor for the Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt. The hunt will take place at The Ranch at Ucross outside of Buffalo, Wyoming, and w
ill be hosted by the Wyoming Women’s Foundation. Smith & Wesson professional shooting team captain, Julie Golob, will attend the hunt as a special guest.
Smith & Wesson’s regional sales manager Stan Shiparski said, “We signed up as a sponsor because this first-of-its-kind event will showcase women in hunting. Smith & Wesson encourages women to take part in the shooting sports, including hunting. We began sponsoring the NRA Women’s Network this year and our sponsorship of the Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt provides us with another opportunity to send that message. Three of our shooters will participate and I know that they are all looking forward to the opportunity to share their skills and their knowledge with other hunters while learning from this exciting new experience.”

The Inaugural Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt
The Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt was developed by the Wyoming Women’s Foundation to promote women’s hunting and recreational activities on a national level and support the organization’s mission of economic self-sufficiency for women across Wyoming. The hunt, which is the first event of its kind for women in the U.S., will take place at the historic Ucross Ranch in northeast Wyoming. It will include female hunters of all experience levels and will emphasize safe and responsible hunting.
