SCI energizes Cabela's gift certificate program

Tucson, AZ: To encourage new members to extend their memberships to three years instead of one, Safari Club International (SCI) has updated the popular Cabela’s Gift Certificate program that has been in place for the past 10 years.
According to Nita Mackley, Director of Member and Chapter Services, SCI has kept the “Member get a Member” approach and also added a new program that gives new Members an incentive for joining as 3-Year Members. This new program is the first true new member incentive developed in years, and goes into effect July 1.
“In the ‘Member get a Member’ program, current SCI members can receive a $25 Cabela’s gift certificate for every new one-year member they sponsor. Membership to SCI is only $65 in the U.S.A., Canada, and Mexico; $90 Overseas,” Mackley said. “However, for the new 3-Year Member incentive program, new members who sign-up for a 3-Year membership which is $150 in the U.S.A., Canada, and Mexico and $225 Overseas will receive a $50 Cabela’s gift certificate.”
In addition, SCI Chapters that have their primary 2013 fundraiser scheduled between July 1 and December 31, 2013 can use the original “Member get a Member” program, but only for membership drives held at the fundraiser. SCI headquarters staff or Field Coordinator can answer any questions about this program.
“SCI would like to thank Cabela’s for their continued partnership. Their incentive program increases our membership which means SCI can continue to be First for Hunters,” Mackley concluded.
Safari Club International’s mission to protect the freedom to hunt and promote wildlife conservation worldwide is being carried out in more courtrooms and wild places than ever before. The goal of these programs is to increase SCI’s membership base so that the organization can continue to grow its core mission programs.
