Lisa Densmore is an Emmy-winning television producer and host who covers sports, outdoor, conservation, nature and adventure travel. When she’s not in front of a camera, she’s holding one. Though based in New Hampshire, she shoots worldwide. Her images have appeared in numerous regional and national magazines, books, calendars, galleries – and even on a car and several skis! She shoots on assignment and for stock photo sales. She also has a line of greeting cards under the name Densmore Designs. Densmore’s professional memberships include the SnowSports Journalists Association of America (NASJA) and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). She is currently a member of the OWAA Board of Directors.
Densmore recently completed her fourth book, “Hiking the Adirondacks” (FalconGuides, Spring 2010) for which she completed 42 hikes in the Adirondack Mountains in New York. The images in this month’s portfolio are a sampling of many she took while working on her book and will give you a taste of the hiking, paddling and fishing in this 6 million-acre wilderness.
