November Portfolio: Roman Jaskolski

For almost 30 years, as a “serious hobby,” Roman Jaskolski has photographed wildlife–primarily mature white-tail deer. Photographs featured in his Portfolio were taken in the remote, northern regions of the Adirondacks. Jaskolski now makes his home in Montreal, Quebec.
“Unfortunately, as the equipment has become better and better, the deer have become fewer and fewer. Many of the remote areas where these photos were taken are now open to roads and civilization and the deer are no more,” Jaskolski said.
These images are also featured on Jaskolski’s new Web site, www.whitetail-photos.com. He currently offers one image free of charge to OWAA members (excluding shipping and handling). The free image can be used to support the member’s work, so long as it is not sold on its own. Additional prints are 50 percent off the stated price, plus shipping and handling. Discount images are subject to same criteria. E-mail Jaskolski for more information.
