Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever

Iowa Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever have launched an ambitious campaign to restore the state’s pheasant and quail populations, and increase the number of upland bird hunters. The goal of “Reload Iowa” is to raise $11.5 million to establish and improve 1 million acres of wildlife habitat on private and public land in the state. Approximately $8.5 million will be used to establish 50 wildlife habitat specialist positions, and a $3 million landowner stewardship fund will provide incentives for landowners to establish nesting and brood-rearing habitat.
