Local author/photographer Spider Rybaak will conduct an ice-fishing clinic at the park’s Minna Anthony Common Nature Center, February 22, from noon to 2 p.m.
Jigging for sunfish and perch, and fishing with with tip-ups for northern pike will be covered.
Actual fishing will take place in Eel Bay behind the Nature Center.
The event is made possible through a grant by the Friends of the Nature Center, tackle donated by Shakespeare and Berkley, and bait provided by Spider.
Students aged 16 and older must possess a valid NYS fishing license.
