PERRYSBURG, OH – The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) will host a farm tour on Wednesday, August 7, to highlight the success of the Healthy Lake Erie Fund. The appropriation, administered through the Ohio Clean Lakes Initiative, offers farmers funding to implement best management practices that reduce nutrient runoff and improve water quality. Currently, $2.45 million has been spent to apply these practices on more than 40,000 acres in the Western Lake Erie Watershed.
