Competitors entering the Zombie Zone at Zombies in the Heartland / Pandemic 2012 will use the newest Crosman Undead Apocalypse airsoft products. The event will be held at Heartland Public Shooting Park in Grand Island, Neb., June 29 to July 1.
Shooters will be armed with the Zombie Eraser rifle, the Zombie Eliminator sidearm, and more than 100 rounds of ammunition.
“Once you enter the Zombie Zone, you’ll make your way through a maze of walls, smoke, sound and lights in an effort to destroy as many of those disgusting creatures as you can,” said Bill Starkey, director of the park.
The Nebraska Army National Guard will guide competitors through the shoot house, and a fee of $5 per participant will be requested. All proceeds will be donated to the Honored American Veterans Afield.
