The leader of the nation’s largest recreational boating organization, BoatUS President Margaret Bonds Podlich, invites all Palmetto State boaters to an informal “Town Hall” discussion to talk boating issues and listen to local boaters’ concerns.

WHAT: The leader of the nation’s largest recreational boating organization, BoatUS President Margaret Bonds Podlich, invites all Palmetto State boaters to an informal “Town Hall” discussion to talk boating issues and listen to local boaters’ concerns. Headquartered in Alexandria, VA, Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatUS) offers services such as boat towing, insurance and is the recreational boaters’ advocate on issues such as waterway access, taxes, safety, regulation and hurricane preparedness. South Carolina has over 10,000 BoatUS members. Local TowBoatUS Charleston Captain Steve Little as well as other captains will also be on hand to answer questions. Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
