We are making an effort to move our conferences more regularly around the country and are targeting the Midwest and East regions for our 2017 conference. Our 2017 conference location will be announced following site visits by headquarters staff in fall 2014 and a presentation at the January 2015 board meeting.

OWAA will work directly with the host city Convention & Visitors Bureau during the bid process – please do not have individual resorts or properties contact us. While OWAA’s conference has traditionally been held in June or July, we are open to proposals in shoulder seasons that offer the best rates for OWAA and our members. A completed Bid Questionnaire must be returned with all submitted bids in order to be considered. You can also contact Jessica Pollett, jpollett[at]owaa.org, with additional questions.
OWAA conference will host around 300 attendees from a wide array of outdoor communication professionals. Conference is structured as a 3-day peak night pattern over the course of a weekend.
