We are making an effort to move our conferences more regularly around the country and are targeting the Midwest and West regions for our 2016 conference. Our 2016 conference location will be announced following site visits by headquarters staff this fall and a presentation at the January board meeting.

OWAA will work directly with the host city Convention & Visitors Bureau during the bid process – please do not have individual resorts or properties contact us. While OWAA’s conference has traditionally been held in June or July, we are open to proposals in shoulder seasons that offer the best rates for OWAA and our members.
OWAA conference will host around 350 attendees from a wide array of outdoor communication professionals. Conference is structured as a 3-day peak night pattern over the course of a weekend.
