The CL Companion binocular, a product by Swarovski Optik North America, won the Editor’s Choice award for best mid-size binocular in Outdoor Life’s 2012 Gun and Optics test. Swarovski Optik’s EL Range and new Z6i 2nd Generation riflescope were also recognized as two of 2012’s best innovations by Outdoor Life magazine.
Outdoor Life’s Gun and Optics test examines the low light performance, optical quality and mechanical precision of a variety of products, and also includes field testing by a panel of experts. The award appeared in the June/July 2012 issue.
