LINCOLN, Neb., (March 24, 2015) Swanson Russell announces the addition of Dave Maas to the public relations department of its Lincoln office.
Maas joins the agency as public relations counsel and will serve clients Minn Kota, Cannon Downriggers and Cannon Safe. His previous positions include senior managing editor at North American Hunter and executive editor at Creative Publishing International.  Maas’ 21 total years as an editor have equipped him with extensive experience in both print and digital content.
Maas is an avid fisherman who has served as a fishing guide in both Minnesota and Alaska. During his eight years in fishing retail, he taught rod building, directed sports show sales teams and ran the Muskie Fever catalog business. A lifelong hunter and bowhunter, Maas has decades of in-the-field experience going after deer, elk and turkey.
A native of Minnesota, Maas graduated from Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
