National Shooting Sports Foundation

NSSF, the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry, has launched a blog aimed at correcting inaccuracies about firearms and the firearms industry. The blog, titled “Aiming for Accuracy,” is updated regularly with news, links and other resources designed to promote accurate communications about firearms issues in the media, among bloggers and all firearms enthusiasts. Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership

TRCP has commended a decision by the U.S. Depart-ment of Agriculture to extend the timetable for finalization of the Colorado roadless rule, a plan for management of the state’s national forest roadless areas. USDA responded to a state request to prolong the rule-making process so that stakeholder concerns could be addressed in the final plan. The original deadline was Dec. 5.
