RGS schedules ‘Cruise for Conservation’ in Washington

The Ruffed Grouse Society will host its first “Cruise for Conservation” along the historic Potomac River on Dec. 1 aboard the Capital Elite Yacht. Limited to 60 people, tickets for this unique fundraiser are $500 per person, $750 per couple or $3,600 for a table of eight. Thomas Tidwell, chief of the U.S. Forest Service, will be the guest speaker. Main discussion topics will include the issue of hunting on National Forest lands and the Forest Service’s plans for maintaining early successional forests and their associated wildlife.
