The National Shooting Sports Foundation recently named Michael G. Bazinet as director of public affairs. Bazinet will be responsible for NSSF’s communications with the general news media and will support the association’s government relations programs.
Bazinet has served in communications and public affairs roles at Terex, UST (now part of Altria), Aetna and Tenneco. A former journalist, he holds a master’s in journalism from Ohio State University.
“Mike brings an impressive skill set to the public affairs role at NSSF,” said Bill Dunn, NSSF managing director of marketing communications. “His years of experience in both the public affairs arena and as a journalist will be significant assets to NSSF and all of its members. We are thrilled to have him aboard.”
