In celebration of its 100th anniversary, L.L.Bean has developed a line of commemorative products that reflect its outdoor heritage. The lineup, offered through the end of 2012, includes the 100th Anniversary Collector’s Knife and Display Box, among other products.
The 100th Anniversary Collector’s Knife and Display Box features limited edition, individually numbered knives with a full-tang fixed blade and a handle made from red stag. The 6-inch blade is fixed to the handle by countersunk brass medallions with the L.L.Bean logo. The knives come with a bird’s eye maple display box and a leather sheath.
Other anniversary products include a split cane fly rod, a wood and canvas canoe by Old Town, traditional snowshoes, a reproduction of the original Maine Hunting Shoe, collector’s duck decoys, a reprint of the classic book “Hunting, Fishing and Camping” and more.
