Nominations are being accepted through July 30 for the Peter Hathaway Capstick Hunting Heritage Award, a prestigious award that recognizes contributions to wildlife and habitat conservation and sustained commitment to hunting heritage. The award is presented by the Dallas Safari Club and Dallas Ecological Foundation.
“If you’re a hunter, you probably know someone who deserves special recognition for their efforts in conservation. There are thousands of sportsmen, women and organizations playing major roles in keeping America’s wildlife populations strong and habitats healthy. We’d like to hear their stories,” said Ben Carter, DSC executive director.
Recipients are selected based on their involvement in education, hunting, conservation organizations, humanitarian causes, research, permanent endowments and charitable giving.
