Densmore has 'best stretch of ski racing' in 2012 masters competitions

At the 2012 International Ski Federation (FIS) Masters Word Criterium, held March 26-31 at Mammoth Mountain in California, Lisa Densmore was the first American among all women at the championship. She finished first in her age group class in Super G, giant slalom and slalom and ranked in the top five overall of each of those three events.
Leading up to the international competition, at the 2012 USSA Alpine Masters National Championships,  held March 19-23 in Park City, Utah, Densmore swept her age-group class at the nationals in all five events, including Super Combined, Super G, giant slalom, slalom and overall combined.
“I just had perhaps the best stretch of ski racing since I joined the masters circuit in 1991  — perhaps in life,” Densmore said. “As I stare at the overwhelming pile on my desk after being away for 2-plus weeks, it was worth it. … A big check off my bucket list.”
