Buck announces new sales rep agency

After 45 years as a Buck Knives sales representative, James Newman Jr. (Jimmy) of the Newman Agency is retiring. Taking over this territory is H&G Marketing, a sales representative team with employees located all over the United States.
The late James Newman Sr. and James Newman Jr. have both won multiple awards for their sales accomplishments, including sales rep of the year awarded to Jimmy in 2011. “Jimmy is a great guy and our prayers go out to the entire family for a long and prosperous retirement,” said Chuck Buck, Chairman of Buck Knives. “My family and I have enjoyed working with the Newman family and appreciate all of their efforts.”
H&G Marketing, a leading representative for the sporting goods industry, will cover Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. H&G, who has successfully formed many long-term business relationships with several prominent manufacturers in the sporting goods industry, focuses on expert strategies and thorough communication.
“It is with great pleasure that Buck Knives announces the addition of H&G Marketing to our sales team,” said Chris Bourassa, National Sales Manager for Buck Knives. “We look forward to working with H&G and are confident they will be a great asset to the current Buck sales team.”
H&G Marketing is a prominant sales and marketing organization located in Big Lake, Minnesota. “We represent companies with the highest standards of quality,” said Brad Paskey, Northwest Regional Manager for H&G Marketing. “With Buck’s famous Forever Warranty and reputation for long-lasting durable products, the relationship is certain to be a great fit.”
In addition to these changes, Buck Knives has made the decision to expand the territory represented by the Getty Browning Agency, who has diligently represented Buck Knives in the Northeastern territory for over 30 years. States included in the expansion are Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia. The Getty Browning Agency proudly welcomes David and Elizabeth Laws who will manage Tennessee and Kentucky, and Mark Harris, who will be returning to represent the state of North Carolina.
“We feel very confident that these changes will solidify these territories and we should see positive results in a very short period of time,” said Bob George, Director of Sales and Marketing for Buck Knives. “We welcome H&G Marketing and the new members of the Getty Browning Agency and are excited to see good things out of their new and expanded territories.”
