Arizona Elk Society announces three scholarships for 2012

Each year the Arizona Elk Society provides scholarships to students who exhibit a commitment to wildlife and the outdoors and who participate in school-related responsibilities and activities.  One $1,000 scholarship is for college students who exhibit this commitment and are studying to pursue careers as a wildlife officer, wildlife biologist or a career within certain forestry fields dealing with wildlife. Two other scholarships are available in 2012 for graduating high school seniors. Those scholarships are worth $1,000 and $750. For more details, visit http://tinyurl.com/3lk8qdx. Deadline for applications is Jan. 16, 2012.
