Summary of Position
The Producer/Editor researches, writes, produces and edits short form video.
Responsibilities
– Conceptual: In conjunction with Senior Producers, Producer/Editor establishes a vision for how a particular project can be executed in the form of a short-form video.
– Producer/Editor crafts video scripts as needed and supervises their passage through S&P.
– Production: The Producer/Editor field produces and coordinates original shoots when necessary, and supervises the acquisition of images needed to properly execute editorial vision.
– Post-Production: Producer/Editor edits pieces together, and supervises technical deliverables. S/he ensures that images used are cleared for the use for which they are intended, and creates simple graphics.
– Post, post production: Producer/Editor creates deliverables binder, supplying all necessary information such as EDLs, releases, music cue sheets, scripts, and any other relevant documentation needed for legal purposes.

Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelors degree. 4-6 years of professional editing experience using File Cut Pro and Adobe Premier edit systems.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
Intimate familiarity and ease of working with Adobe Premier. Ability to digitize, edit, record and place narration, and build simple graphics quickly. Ability to work well under pressure, and under tight deadlines. Demonstrated video storytelling skills a must.
