IDAHO Magazine

The magazine is seeks informative, entertaining writing and great photography about Idaho topics. Submissions on all topics except politics and religion will be considered. Columns can range from 100 to 1,000 words; feature articles can be as long as 3,000 words, but writers aren’t paid by the word, so be concise.  True humor stories about Idaho are considered, but jokes are not. Pitch an idea to managing editor Steve Bunk (more info below). Editors will also consider unsolicited manuscripts for publication. The magazine buys one-time rights to articles, which may include both print and electronic versions.
The magazine accepts photographs for consideration as covers. Both print or digital copies are acceptable. Digital copies should be sent as JPEG or TIFF files with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. All photographs should include information for captions (date, name of subjects, event, etc.) and the photographer’s name. More information is available at
