Minnesota Conservation Volunteer

Minnesota Conservation Volunteer, published by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, covers Minnesota natural resources, wildlife, natural history, outdoor recreation and land use. Needs include essays, first-person adventure narratives, photo features and “young naturalist” articles for children. All articles must have a hard conservation angle. Features are 1,500-2,200 words; pay is 50 cents a word. Pay is on acceptance for first North American serial rights and rights to post to the magazine’s Web site and archive.
