Kayak Fish Magazine is seeking writers with strong voices and photographers with keen visual eyes for 2014 editorial submissions. Paid work only! Help chart the course of this new, oversized glossy quarterly from major publisher Grind Media.
2014 distribution will exceed 3,400 retailers in North America. Contributor print rates average $0.50 per word and $225 per full-size photo.
Kayak Fish is aimed at the fast growing and increasingly mainstream kayak fishing hardcore. We put a premium on compelling, deep stories that inspire, excite and entertain readers.
We print more than how- and where-to stories. We value and honor outdoor traditions— this is a lifestyle magazine. Topics and story styles are wide open, including centerpiece destination and detailed technique features, angler profiles, as-told-to and first-person narratives, and more.
