Delta is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to the future of waterfowl and waterfowl hunting. We are driven by passion and rich in history—one of North America’s longest serving conservation groups—with deep connections to our hunting heritage and waterfowl research.
We are currently looking for the next Editor of our flagship magazine, delivered quarterly to more than 45,000 members. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will be a key member of Delta’s communications team.
The Editor will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the highest editorial standards. You will set annual and longer-term goals, manage budgets, commission articles, liaise with authors and oversee the timely production of the magazine.
As the ideal candidate, you will have…
- At least five years experience editing quality magazines
- An acute understanding of integrated publishing platforms
- A keen eye for design, innovation and creativity
- Excellent organizational skills
- Impeccable journalistic standards
- A personal commitment to an outdoors life style
While the successful candidate will ideally be based in Bismarck, North Dakota or Winnipeg, Manitoba, Delta is willing to consider other mutually beneficial locations.
