Blue Ridge Country

Blue Ridge Country is working on its July/August 2009 issue. It’s the magazine’s “Blue Issue,” centered around the theme of water, so editors are looking for a striking cover photo that involves water in any of its forms: scenic, with or without people, a waterfall, lake, river, in the summer season. The editors also are looking for images from the following communities – cityscapes, scenes, etc., that include their water elements: Alpine Helen, Ga.; Lynchburg, Va.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; Morgantown, W.Va.; Knoxville, Tenn.; Greenville, S.C.; Frederick, Md.; Charleston, W.Va.; Pineville, Ky. Other photo needs include: scenics (water and off-water), hiking in the Deep Creek Lake area of Maryland; Greenbrier River in West Virginia (scenics, recreation); shots of Tennessee Valley Authority reservoirs.
