The Way We Were

The photo brings back old memories. Henry Reynolds nominated me for a Board position and Wally was on the Grand Canyon raft trip with Marty and me and other OWAAers after the Phoenix conference. Pete and others were on a balloon trip during, if I remember right, the Albuquerque conference. The balloon crashed inside an Indian reservation and the tribal police held the group on suspicion of, what?, invasion–they were there during most if not all of the opening banquet. This could be a group photo of many of my most favorite human beings.
