MISSOULA, Mont. – Outdoor Writers Association of America unveils a sleek redesigned website at http://www.owaa.org. This contemporary site has been transformed to showcase services and benefits for outdoor media and industry supporters of OWAA.
Visitors to the new OWAA website will be able to easily find information about joining OWAA, attending its conferences and writing workshops, applying for scholarships and fellowships, and more. With a premium look and streamlined navigation, the new site makes it even easier for visitors to see all that OWAA offers.
OWAA designed the structure of its new website based on input from Individual Members and Supporting Groups. Trends on how real-world visitors used the organization’s previous website influenced all the changes, resulting in an efficient and enjoyable experience.
The new Outdoor Writers Association of America website includes these improved features:
- Reorganized framework and content flow for easily finding the information visitors want.
- Comprehensive “subsites” for OWAA’s Annual Conference; Goldenrod Writing Workshop; Excellence in Craft contests; Outdoors Unlimited, the organization’s trade publication; and online store.
- A much-needed overhaul of OWAA’s online store includes options for dues renewal and conference registration.
- Easy username/login system for access to members-only information. (See sidebar for details.)
