In the same election, OWAA members voted to approve two ballot measures. The first measure proposed eliminating the position of third vice president from the Executive Committee. Members of the Board Nominating and Finance committees will continue to need approval by the Board of Directors.
The election took place on Friday, May 6. Ballots were opened, tabulated and certified by tellers Pat Proebstel, Shirley Williams and Tammy DuBois, volunteers from Missoula Aging Services.
